Shelby City School District Reviews
Shelby City Schools have given me many opportunities to grow into the person I am today. Everything is very personable and the feeling of community is very important to us. If I ever need anything, I feel like I can talk to any teacher I have ever had at Shelby. In the small community of Shelby, we care for one another. A girl was very ill and we rallied together and helped raise money for her hospital bills. We all wore our shirts we made proudly for her. Growing up going to Shelby City Schools has made me want to raise my own kids in a small community like this one. Knowing that you aren't just a number is very important to me. My overall experience from food to arts and from sports to faculty has been excellent. Shelby gives you the tools you need for the real world and I feel prepared going to college next year. I am so thankful to have been able to go to such an amazing school that has helped me grow in so many ways.
Teachers were mostly personable, but they could definitely work on preparing kids for college and after, AND spending less time playing games. Also, they should teach these kids how to respect people better, because most people I know from Shelby think mostly about themselves before anyone or anything else.
This district tries to give each and every student an opportunity to succeed with a caring and open environment. The teachers are welcoming and encourage students to be the best they can.
