I love the diversity in our school district, but I think we lack good teachers. Teachers are under payed and there isn't incentives for ones that show great student interaction. Teachers should be honored more! I think our school district should be more student lead because society is changing as we speak, students have a better understanding of what we needs as a society.

Sheboygan Area School District is a very organized district; there's no doubt about that. I live in the outskirts of the district, in fact, I live in a different county. It is for this reason that I almost feel like an outsider looking in on the Sheboygan Community. This might allow me to give a more thorough evaluation of the school district itself. Sheboygan Area school district recently switched superintendents and there have not been any drastic changes. This in itself, I believe, is a great achievement. However, Sheboygan Area School District has also become more strict in their testing and procedures. Sometimes, it seems as if testing is more important than education and the wellbeing of the students to the Sheboygan Area School District. However, the opportunities at my school, Sheboygan North High School, are immense and interesting. I'm happy with my experience at North and I wouldn't want to be enrolled anywhere else.
Throughout the years of being in the Sheboygan Area School district I have grown and developed into the person I am today. Transitioning from elementary, middle, then high school, I have always had the teachers who love to teach and strive to prepare us to be the future. The SASD excels in offering different clubs and activities for any interest a student may have. College readiness is an aspect teachers start preparing us for as freshman, the dependability, punctuality, and responsibility are aspects they focus on heavily.
