I personally liked the Seward school system. I liked that their were 2 counselors so that there was usually one available. I felt like a majority of the teachers knew what they were teaching and did a good job explaining. I also felt like while students could be disrespectful and trying, the teachers did a good job demanding respect while staying professional.
Seward Public School is great because of how much the teachers and administration want you to succeed. Academics and learning are highly valued. They do a great job of rewarding little successes and good character. The counselors clearly show good ways of preparing for college and help students get there. Despite this, however, Seward Public Schools is not very diverse and the lunch food is very poor. But school spirit is high with pep rallies and P.R.I.D.E. rallies. Student sections at most games are enthusiastic and exciting. There are many activities to get involved with energized and hardworking teachers. Overall Seward Public Schools are excellent.
It is a good small-town school but the village is mainly white. The school has a great administration and the teachers are some of the best.
