Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School District Reviews
I have gone to sergeant bluff, for the past 11 year and I have come to love this place. There are so many teachers that make me want to come to school. I see little to no bullying. Socially anyone can excell at this school. The sports are absolutely excellent currently as writing this volleyball and football are both going to state. Academically this school exceeds greatly in 2018 it was elected for the blue ribbon award.
The teachers are hit and miss. Some are super enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and able to teach well. Others give busy work and don't actually help students learn the material. Overall, administration is supportive and many activities are offered. Nice medium-sized school in a great community!
School at Sergeant Bluff-Luton was personally an amazing experience. Sergeant Bluff has small class sizes, which allows each student to individualize their schedule. The teachers care a lot about the content you learn in their class, but care even more about the lessons you learn for the real world. The work-load is manageable while still pushing students to learn more and work hard. Sergeant Bluff also offers college classes through the local community classes. The people of Sergeant Bluff are very welcoming, and not a ton of bullying/theft/overall disrespect occurs. As for sports, Sergeant Bluff offers a huge variety of sports, from swimming and tennis, to football and volleyball. The coaches are always looking for ways to improve, and work well with the student-athletes. Clubs offered through Sergeant Bluff are also plentiful. Chess Club, Student Council, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes are just a few. Overall, the experience was amazing, and I would highly recommend.
