I like the teachers that I met. They are nice and respectful. I like how their is only 2 floors and I like how their is not alot of kids. I like their music department. They need a dance class. Mine teachers care about my education and want what's best for me and will help me if I ever needed it. Their is not alot of fights going on comparing to Dover High.
The district just does not care about the schools, especially at the middle and high school level. It is sad that the high school has the lowest SAT scores in the state, and that is due to a combination of poor leadership from the district, and the lack of care that students in the Seaford School District have about their education. The buildings are also in rough shape as well, and it would be nice if more funding went to education, technology, and/or the arts, rather than going to sports teams that go winless. On a positive note, the district is extremely diverse for this area, and the district has prepared well for hybrid/remote learning, due to COVID.
I liked the diversity, there were so many different cultures in one place which opened a lot of people’s minds and expanded there knowledge.
The Seaford School District could use a lot of changes. As a child, there was no problem and the elementary schools were great. I had a fun and great experience, but moving on to middle and high school, things change. The District is in no way connected with their students, and only focus on making money. I, as a student, don't know or can't name a single person from the District. Decisions are made poorly. Rather than focusing on students and being involved with them, they focus more on the image a school puts. If you care for the happiness and education that your child receives, do not send them to the Seaford School District.
I would like to see the administration build a stronger bond with staff, as to enable them to have a stronger connection with the students. As a parent it really seems as though the students are caught in the middle of a battle with teachers and administration staff. The new high school is a wonderful facility, if only they could now fill it with teachers. The other buildings are in a serious need of upgrades and improvements.
It’s small but I like that. School is a baby boomer high school so a bit old looking and stuff is outdated but everything else is fine.
My experience at Seaford School District was a great experience. I loved the pride and diversity of the district.
I had a great time at Seaford High School and I learned a lot while I was there. I was part of the IB program there and I enjoyed each of the teachers who I had while I was there. I was involved in a few of the sports teams and the coaches were great and so were my teammates. I had an overall enjoyable experience at Seaford High School and I would not want to go to high school anywhere else.
I have been a student at Seaford High School for four years. Overall the school has been improving since recent years. I would love for programs such as IB and New Tech to stay in the school; however, our school does not have the funding required to keep the programs. I also wish that the superintendents would give Seaford a chance because it takes time to make something perfect or to come up from the bottom, and I believe that Seaford is changing for the better.
I had a overall okay experience with Seaford High School. Even though we didn't have the resources we needed or the skilled staff. We had heart and at the end of the day. We were one big community.
