The Scranton School District gave me a good education and memories that will last a life time. It also gave me the opportunity to participate in programs that will help me in college; however, I believe the environment can be improved. They took away the library and some music programs in the primary education centers. These two programs are important for self expression and learning, but children no longer have the opportunity to participate in these programs.

My overall experience at Scranton High School is wonderful. I enjoy walking down the hallways and seeing the wide diverse of cultures. I also enjoy seeing the school spirit we exercise daily. Even though we aren't top in the state in our sport teams, we surely hold good spirit! Even through tight budgets we still come together and look to the good! Go Knights!
There's a lot of diversity in the student population but there's hardly any in the subjects they offer. A couple years ago, many of the subjects were abolished because of the budget cuts. Many teachers were forced to move to other schools and take on larger class room sizes.
