Scottsbluff Public Schools Reviews
The teachers here, for the most part, are top notch. However, over the course of my high school career, we went over some massive changes, including a completely new building. The school created several new unnesscary rules, such as upperclassman talking a bus to their college classes during the day, and a freshman academy.
It is currently undergoing construction, which is obviously going to cause problems, but the administration doesn't do a very good job of handling them. They've changed the food up three times in the last year, and each time has seen an improvement. My main issue is with the parking lot, due to the construction. For a school of about 800 students, there aren't even 100 parking spots, and there are currently more spots set aside for staff than is needed, so those spots are going to waste while students are having to park blocks away from the school. When there is an issue, the administration doesn't do a great job of listening to the ways students want or need it to be fixed. Overall I think the main issue is the administration and issues related to the current construction. The new building is beautiful so far, though.
Scottsbluff schools is a great system. Individual teachers are great and helpful as well as they know how to teach students the correct way. Scottsbluff school system as a whole should really learn to focus on bullying prevention and finding different ways for, kids, who are suicidal or have depression, to express how they feel and be told they are loved.
