This is a small school and does not have very many students. We have the typical groups of popular kids. In this school you are judged by your last name. We have snarky kids who think they are better than everyone else. Teachers pick favorites and they are obviously the popular ones because the kids' parents basically run the town.
The teachers teach very well here and we learn a lot. However we do not cover many different things in one subject because we run out of time. The school also only funds for the sports that it wants to fund for. Football, volleyball, basketball, and track receive money from the school for their equipment. However, golf gets no funding and the school did not even want to pay for a hotel room when the golf team made it to state.

The teachers are very good at what they do, and they know how to have fun while doing it. There is not very many different cultures in our school.
Overall, I enjoyed my time at Scotland High School. It has great staff and I felt prepared for college. The only subject I didn't feel prepared for is English, therefore, I suggest a stronger english program focused on preparing students for college.
