Scituate High School has been a terrific experience, but there are a few things that I wish to see changed. First, I would like to see more classes added. I wish there were subjects such as AP Statistics or AP World Culture, but those classes are not offered. I did enjoy the classes I took, and they are improving this currently. Second, I wish for the teaching staff to improve. There are some teachers who seem to not enjoy their job, and it reflects in their attitude and grading. Some teachers are subjective and give student's grades that they do not deserve. Better, more enthusiastic teachers can help fix this. Lastly, the school spirit was lacking. Pep rallies have been lame and there aren't enough things going on it school to be "proud" to go to Scituate. I think this can be changed by introducing new events. Overall, Scituate High School has been a great experience, but I know that it can be better.

Scituate is a small school with a community like no other. As a school that has witnessed a lot of tragedy in the past few years, we have shown how much the Scituate staff and community supports those in need. Scituate is going through some AMAZING changes right now. With the new Principal and Assistant Principal and Superintendent and with Hitchings making changes in guidance, Scit is changing for the better every day because of the young administrators that really care about this school and it’s students. New websites, New PLTW programs (which are actually really cool) new facilities, new field, new bathrooms. Of course, we’re super white as a school which sucks but that’s just the geographical reality of an east coast small town. And being in a small school can suck. And there are sometimes problems with technology. And they took away class color day. And there are downsides to every school but I think people are ignoring how lucky we are to go to a school like Scit.
Scituate is a really small school, so everyone knows everyone. It’s a great place to create a family and an okay place for an education. Scituate works really hard to improve every year but with our small budget most things are out dated and don’t work well. The teachers are all amazing and are really cool with the students. They talk to us like we’re equal and not just kids. Scituate overall is the kind of school that once you leave you realize how great it is.
