Schodack Central School District Reviews
At Maple Hill, it is nearly impossible to walk through the hallways and see someone you don't know. This is great in the fact that students are very supportive of each other and know everyone on a personal level. Bullying is extremely rare, and finding close friends to support you is not difficult. Maple Hill has an amazing athletic program and our camaraderie is shown on full display. The coaches know you on a personal level and take the sport, and your success, very seriously. In academics, students work extremely hard to make sure their peers understand the material. This environment is great for teamwork, but it creates a lack of competition in academics that I'm sure many of us will be surprised by in college. Some teachers are better than others, but all teachers at Maple Hill know their students very well. I would like to see more situations where students can challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zones, both in extracurriculars and academics.
