From Kindergarten up to 12th grade, I was in the Schenectady City School District. I believe that this is a district that is always up to change. At my time at Schenectady High School I saw staff that were willing to support and help students at every step of the way. One of the most impressive moments being the Schenectady High School walk out in the year of 2018.

Growing up in a household where the adults were dissatisfied with the neighborhood and the expiranece of family members at Schenectady high school, I expected nothong short of hell once there. Surprisingly I was meet woth an expirenace that I had not been prepared for. Rather than a low education, this school offers IB one of the most rigorous and rising prgrams that give you a taste of the world ourside thw US. With the amount of programs available and the emphasise placed on being a well rounded student by the insturctors and other faculty, you cant help but be helping to open a show while having over 4 things due by the end of the week--- the results? A very prepares college student who has learnt the misy important skill...time management.
Schenectady school district has a good academic program for the students who are really committed to becoming successful. On the other hand, there are many issues. There is a lot of violence that occurs in elementary, middle and high schools. It has been going on for years and still has not changed. It effects other students who aren't involved in the violence. For an example, when hallways are blocked because a brawl, students are late to class either because the door is blocked or they have to circle the whole school instead of taking one hallway to get to their classroom.
