Schalmont Central School District Reviews
I like the small class sizes that the school offers. One thing I dislike is the limited amount of classes they have for AP and SUPA classes, I would like more options. I also think the students should get more involved with our community and eachother. Im also dissappointed in the options given for college counseling, I feel very unprepared for the next steps in my education.
I moved to Schalmont my junior year and it was the best decision i’ve ever made. I love the school, the teachers are amazing, everyone working at the school wants you to succeed and they have a great variety of clubs, teams, etc. There really is something for every person at Schalmont. My kids will 110% be going to Schalmont it is that amazing!!
Almost ready to graduate at the end of this school year makes me look back and wonder. Did I do high school right? The answer is yes, my time in high school has been short but great at Schalmont. I have made friends that will last a life time, learned skills I will always carry with me, and made memories with students and teachers that I will never forget. I would not change anything about Schalmont... except for teachers giving a little less homework! Schalmont has taught me so many things and has given me the chance to go above and beyond. The faculty and teachers at Schalmont have shown me that nothing is impossible if you just give it a try.
