Saraland City Schools Reviews
I have 3 daughters in the Saraland School District and there is no other place they would be! The commitment they have shown to the students is second to none, from safety to education, it is top notch. We have been in the disctrict since it started and every teacher my children have had are dedicated and love their kids! My oldest will be the first graduating class to go completely from K-5 through 12th and every year the school system has expanded and gotten better!
I couldn't be more pleased with my little boy's school. The system just added a K-1 Center and the commitment to the students and parents is amazing! 3 out of 4 schools are brand new, the 4th school is completely renovated. The superintendent is visible at events and in the schools and as far as the elementary & early ed schools, the principals Mr. Stokely & Mrs. Williams are so committed to the safety and education of the students. I would rank the lower schools #1 & A+. Can't speak on the upper schools because we're not there yet.
Saraland City Schools is a wonderful school district that has prepared me beautifully for my future. With the incorporation of the new VO TECH courses, specifically the engineering program, I've had the pleasure of meeting top engineers from companies such as Shell Chemical and even receiving job offers along with paid college tuition. The school system has also prepared me and many others for our ACT and SAT in which I personally scored a 31 on my ACT with others scoring as high as a 35, solely based on the rigorous courses and practice we've obtained through the school system. While I believe there should be more clubs and organizations implemented, such as a JROTC program, the school system has done a phenomenal job at preparing its students for the future and continues to progress as the decade old school system continues to grow.
