Sandusky High School isn’t the worst school in the world, I’m not going to lie we have some good programs at our school. We have so many opportunities to offer so you can be college ready we even have CCP labs which are college credit plus labs. You gain college credit for taking these courses. You can leave highschool with enough credit for your whole freshman year of college and leave highschool and go straight to be a college sophomore. We have an amazing internship program that allows you to get a job so you’re able to work during the school day and allows you to choose your career path before you get out of highschool most of these places allow you to get a job straight out of colleg if you’re a hard working person and they like you. Many of the students who do the internship often get scholarships from the places they worked at if they did an outstanding job.

As a senior at Sandusky High, I am very pleased with the overall diversity of the school and the district. Although the school district could better improve security within the school buildings as the overall protection provided to the students is poor.
Sandusky City Schools has great academic options and mainly great teachers. Many college courses are offered for qualifying students as early as 8th grade. The food is pretty bad because of government regulations and budgets (everyone gets free lunch). There aren’t many clubs, but there are quite a few sports teams that you can be involved in. Overall, Sandusky City Schools is a good school.
