The San Mateo School District is like many others. It favors some schools over others depending on reputation, student population, and location. It's sports programs are also favored depending on popularity. Those who work for the school district are hardly present at any of the schools under their district and do not actively meet the students or parents from those schools. This school district needs a lot of improvement in terms of promoting diversity and acceptance, but does it's job for the most part.

I feel safe while attending school, I can always go to someone if i need help with anything. Although the food is not very great tasting I do understand that the food has to be appropriate for everyone. The staff is very helpful and understanding. There is a huge diversity in teachers and students, that is something I love about this school, although I do feel like the Bay Area is known for the diversity which is great because you just learn so much about other peoples cultures.
I really like the diversity that is at the district because I get to learn many different cultures. I also like the teachers because I think most of them are really nice and it is easy to have a good relationship with them.
