San Mateo County Office of Education Reviews

1 review
My experience in attending South San Francisco High school (linked to San Mateo County District) was very wholesome and supportive. As I did attend El Camino High School in my first year as well, I find myself to have a slightly more tangible perspective. To start, I found the collective appreciation and care from students and faculty to be prevalent throughout. I especially appreciated a great amount of teachers as some had treated their class as family. When you have a family core and value ingrained within a classroom setting, it makes it more comfortable for people to be themselves and share opinions openly. The multiple programs and support systems were also helpful in making my experience much more safe so to speak.
