While attending school in the San Gabriel Unified School District, I have enjoyed the overall academics provided as well as the community surrounding it. However, I feel as though there is not much provided for ones mental health and stress management as a common culture in this school district is putting one health aside to compete in this environment. Personally I would like to see more resources available to those struggling with mental health issues.

Having been an SGUSD student from 2nd grade to high school graduation, this school district has been my inspiration for pursuing a higher education. The schools in this district, from elementary to high school, are diverse and place great emphasis on academics and extracurricular participation. Along with providing safe and effective studying environments, SGUSD has been a very positive influence on my academic career.
Acceptable school, could put more effort and funding towards hiring more teachers and adopting more classes for students instead of building more structures.
