I went to San Dieguito Academy and I love the atmosphere on campus! The students are very welcoming and supportive of their classmates and although we do not have a football team, students still go to sporting events and cheer on the mustangs. The only problem i’ve ever had at school was when I was diagnosed with a concussion. Many of my teachers refused to accept my work late once I was cleared to participate in class. This obviously took a toll on my grades which has affected my chances of getting into college.

Oak crest middle school is definitely lacking. It is a HUGE eyesore asbestos, cockroaches, bathroom doors on backwards, and just general age. As well as there are teachers who do nothing or copy off of other teachers. Most teachers are good and deserve a nice workplace. Also the idea of home rooms at oak crest is NOT WORKING. Nobody likes it and all of the activities are boring. Oak crest is not safe because of the facility. Wait until this school is remodeled and the lacking teachers are laid off or go somewhere else!
My daughter graduated from the San Dieguito Union High School District two years ago and she is now in her Sophomore year at Chapman University in Orange County, as small private school. The district sets extremely high standards for their faculty and their students, and the high school experience was a well balanced one with academics, sports, and wonderful friendships. The school has been highly ranked in the state for many years. This district also helped prepare her for the college academics and she received a fantastic merit scholarship for college. Thank you so much. It was a wonderful 4 years.
