There are two schools in this district Valley and Crafton. I went to Crafton thought it was a great experience. Near every class I took was headed by an excellent professor, and the math department was particularly exceptional. The college is socially lacking and needs better food. Despite that its a great value community college!

It has been my pleasure being in the San Bernardino City Unified School District for 12 years. Administrations are always very polite towards certain issues, but the environment of the schools weren’t always the best. There were too much violence whether physically or mentally. Some teachers didn’t really seem involved and passionate towards what they were doing as some would just provide busywork to compensate for it. Overall, SBCUSD really has made me feel at home, and even with the violence, I give many appreciation towards the staff for their effort to control the environment regarding safety and education achievement.
I like that they are giving more importance to our Parents opinion and the teachers and principles care about their students. I like that the district has a Gear Up program that is very effective and that they have the Family Leadership Institute and A program with Consuelo Castillo Kickbush , which is a great program! I would like to see a new program with Consuelo for students, I believe it would help students with emotional problems and help with following the right path and graduating.
