I had a wonderful experience going all 12 of school years at Salmon River School District. Salmon River is a small school district with under 100 students in the high school. For this reason I was able to know all my classmates above and below and develop great relationships with many. The teachers were also wonderful, being there for you whenever you needed them. I believe living in a small community gave me a feeling of confident and a willing to go out and try anything because of the support not only from the school but from the community also.
I would love to see more resources and outlets for all students. SRHS is a great place to go to school because the teachers really care about the students. It is a safe place to attend. I have three sisters who are younger than me, and I am glad they will have the same opportunity as me. I have attended preschool, grade school, middle school, and high school with several of the same students throughout my entire education. It truly is a special place.
I really like everything about this school. I really like the student to teacher ratio because it is so small. The teachers really do care about our futures in the world, so they work to create a good learning environment. I also really like the sports aspect of this school. We have a very dominant sports program in our league, so it makes for a very fun school year.
