I have attended Salina South High School all 4 years. I was on the basketball team from 7th grade at Salina South Middle School and played through my sophomore year at South High. The coaches are very involved with the younger and older levels of the game. I have also played volleyball starting in 7th grade and played through my senior season. The amount of friends you will make through being involved in sports, art, and music is incredible. The teachers are always willing to work with their students, even with situations that are outside of school, to help them be successful. I have been able to make friends from different cliques and that has given me a overall better experience as well.
I love the positive energy that all the staff bring, and how every teaching styles differ between each teacher. I would probably change who everyone needs to have a sense of each others feelings. I would also change the teachers/students relationship, because you should feel comfortable around your teachers
I didn't really get the full highschool experience because of COVID, but I was able to have some good memories. The majority of the teachers are nice and helpful, but the administration doesn't do their job well.
