I have been enrolled in SVUSD my entire life. I love how organized the district is and how they are very involved in the students lives.
It is a great and large school district, passionate teachers and nice students! Great athletics programs and diverse choices for electives, across all schools.
It was alright, there are much better school districts nearby but there are also much worse nearby. The teachers are very hit or miss, there are some who love kids and really want to help, and then others who are clearly only there for a paycheck and don't actually care if the kids learn or not. The cleanliness could be improved.
I have been in this district my whole school career and it has been nothing but the best experience. If you are looking for a good and safe environment this is the district for you.
I thought that their overall school choice was great and the district office itself was nice as well. I only give it a 4 out of 5 because of one of the staff members inside of the office. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or what, but she wasn't very nice to me when I went in to ask a question about the school I was thinking of enrolling my child in
I really like the organizations they have that help children that have low income to receive food and other necessities to help them through the school year. Always trying to help other that are in need and have less. Giving student and even parents an opportunity to become someone among everyone else. They do need to work on hearing peoples claims and suggestions to new and better things for students and staff.
I have attended 4 schools in this district and all of them are very accepting of all cultures and orientations and identities. All schools make it a priority to be inclusive and there is no tolerance policies on bullying and drug-taking which makes campus-life feel safer.
I am very satisfied with the education I have received as a student in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. One thing I like about this district is that it views sports as a key element in the educational and moral development of its students.
It is a nice school district. However, I wish they had state funded preschools available. I am glad they do have charter schools available.
students shouldn't have to turn there cameras on in zoom call and shouldn't have to be marked absent for not having a camera on also students have privacy rights and they don't have to
I liked that it had a very diverse amount of students and faculty, teachers teaching every academic subject was very helpful, and there were many resources for students to be involved and ask questions if they had any.
The main thing I love about SVUSD is the diversity within each school. I go on visits during the away games, and I love to see the diverse and supportive community.
The district is very concerned with the safety and well being of its staff and students. It takes pride in providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment and offers a wide variety of opportunities for its students.
My experience with SVUSD has been excellent! The community is very supportive and the staff wants to see all of the students succeed. There are many ways for students to be involved within their school community (clubs, sports, etc). Safety is always the number one priority. Academics vary based on what classes one takes. I have been on the Honors track and have received a lot of academic support. The amount of homework can be overwhelming at some points, but not unmanageable. Overall, I am very grateful to be a student in SVUSD.
I have enjoyed my experience with Saddleback Valley Unified School District. The academic options is a lot which adds to the students experience and the teachers are incredible and great resources for help. There are many clubs, activities, and sports that I have been a part of and I enjoy the variety and the opportunity to create a club. I feel very safe at all of the schools and I really enjoy the campuses. Based on my experience, I am ready to pursue my senior year and start my college career. My experience has gotten me prepared for the next chapter in my life. I am forever grateful for my great experience with Saddleback Valley Unified School District.
Overall, I can't really complain much. To be honest, some days completely sucked, but that's life. That being said, the teachers are always there for the students, and always put the students first.
Elementary was ok but the school never really did anything about bullies no matter how bad it was. middle school was just boring but easy. High school, well not many good teachers many rats, gross classroom and bathrooms. Doesnt pay attention to other activities like the band program and other things.
