I think overall Sachem Central School district prepares their students for college and genuinely cares about the students enrolled at their schools in order for them to succeed. I feel as though they should emphasize the arts in the school more, rather than focusing all on sports. An equal balance should be achieved. I think that the district should take a different approach with their budget ensuring that there is no cuts to education/clubs that students value. I do commend how Sachem will create groups to welcome people of all race and sexual orientation, as well as have a mentoring club where seniors will help
Guide freshman on their high school journey. Overall sachem is a great district who has the students success at heart.

I love Sachem. I graduated from there in 1980 and my daughter is graduating this year. Full circle. I struggled in high school though I was a smart kid. I fell through the cracks.

My daughter was not academically gifted but they still did everything they could to help her. And they were particularly wonderful when the start of an eating disorder began. They knew as soon (if not sooner) than I did.

I'm so glad she went there!
Sachem North has been a wonderful experience for the past years. My teachers and coaches all helped to shape of who I am and who I will become. I made a lot of good friends and enjoyed learning with my teachers and fellow students. Also, I am glad to be part of the Sachem Wrestling team for all of my high school years and captain in the senior year. I participated as a lead role in a play called Harvey during my junior year and helped middle school kids learn about dangers of drugs in a club Sachem North offered. Also, I did model UN and participated in community events. Because of my great experience at Sachem North, I look forward to continuing my studies at Cortland where I will study Kinesiology and exercise science. I plan on going for a post bachelor degree in either sports management or physical therapy. I am thankful for meeting my lifelong friends and being a student at Sachem.
