Rutherford Public Schools Reviews
Rutherford High school was an excellent school. I felt prepared when I entered college not only from an educational standpoint but from a personal one as well. The environment and the people are so welcoming and act as a family they provide the support you need. The school had a great school spirit as well and made being involved so much fun. Everyone knows school is most importantly about education but colleges look at how involved you were as well with sports, clubs, and community service. Rutherford made it easy to be involved in all of the above by providing a vast amount of extracurriculars to spark the interest of everyone within the school.
I personally think the Rutherford Public School district is more advanced than others and leaves their alumni appropriately ready for college. The high school has many opportunities for it's students to get involved in the community through its wide range of clubs and organizations. There are also plenty of ways in which the students can receive college credit and money for their future. I am certain that I thrived here at Rutherford High School, and would not have done as well if it were any other school district.
The community at my high school was very strong. Everybody knew everybody's name. There was a lot of school spirit and involvement. The faculty was okay. I had a few teachers that seemed like they cared about their jobs and their students but not many. There are often times when issues arise, whether it be bullying or a congruence with a policy, it should be dealt with differently than how it is handled.
