Love the school! Good teachers, good friends, good campuses. Too bad vaping and other drugs are pretty prevalent, but then again, which high school doesn't have it?

Round Rock ISD offers an extraordinary program where their students are able to attend Early College High School to earn their Associates Degree along with their High School Diploma. This opportunity not only helps students achieve the critical thinking necessary for college, but it challenges its students and offers them resources to be prepared to move onto a 4 year university. The school culture is also wonderful with local football games, dances, etc.
I enjoyed all of the friends that I have made being in RRISD for the past twelve years, and I'm excited for my siblings to follow in my path. My elementary school, Pond Springs, was exceptional. They give many volunteering opportunities that allow students to connect with their community. My middle school, DeerPark, taught me that there are people who come from many different backgrounds. In elementary you are surrounded by the same kids for six years, but in middle school you're introduced to many other students all from different ethnic and financial backgrounds. High School helped me develop my love for the fine arts and athletics. I have been involved in cheer, choir, theater, and many clubs. Although this seems like a truckload of work, our departments at McNeil try to work around each schedule to help their students be well rounded. I have been extremely satisfied with RRISD and how they have shaped me.
