I enjoyed all of the friends that I have made being in RRISD for the past twelve years, and I'm excited for my siblings to follow in my path. My elementary school, Pond Springs, was exceptional. They give many volunteering opportunities that allow students to connect with their community. My middle school, DeerPark, taught me that there are people who come from many different backgrounds. In elementary you are surrounded by the same kids for six years, but in middle school you're introduced to many other students all from different ethnic and financial backgrounds. High School helped me develop my love for the fine arts and athletics. I have been involved in cheer, choir, theater, and many clubs. Although this seems like a truckload of work, our departments at McNeil try to work around each schedule to help their students be well rounded. I have been extremely satisfied with RRISD and how they have shaped me.

I’ve been in the rrisd since kindergarten, I can honestly say I’ve had an amazing experience. Throughout all my years of going to school I’ve been provided with the best technology and resources needed to succeed. Most of my teachers have been very helpful. One issue I have run into in high school that I know other people share is some teachers are of a different race which is not s problem but there is a language barrier in some cases. It’s made it hard to learn and understand what material is being taught. Other than that I’ve loved every school I have attended and I feel prepared for college
Round Rock ISD overall does a pretty good job. Every once and a while you will get a bad teacher, but majority of the facility is amazing. One thing that the school could work on is the TAG program. I'm a student that has always excelled at school, but I wasn't fit from their program. I'm still at the top of my class though so it didn't hinder my education too much, but it would have challenged me more in school. The sports are pretty great across the board especially at Round Rock High School, where I go. I also, don't have any complaints about the facilities. One thing is that the student populations across Round Rock ISD is mainly white, but there is a large growing Indian/Asian population and a small black population.
