Eagan High School is one of the best schools in Minnesota. I like the teachers and their school is very hard on you at first. But they do that so you can be ready for college. They have this program called AVID, which teach you more about college and how to be more prepared for it. Their food is also pretty good, they give you 3 hot lunch options, a soup bar, a salad bar, and they also have their own a la carte station too. Most of the food is good! Their teachers are nice and some are strict! But if you're serious about your work, they are very helpful. I also love the amount of sports and clubs they have. They have football, soccer, hockey, pingpong, wrestling, volleyball, etc. And for clubs, they have French club, Spanish club, faith club, debate, and much more. You can also create your own club too. I think one of the few cons about this school is it lack of diversity... but they are working on that!

It’s a great district that’s good at preparing kids for tests such as the ACT, SAT, and MCAs. Generally the staff is caring and helpful. I would like to see better placement of finances, such as less to sports and more to other areas. For example, the School of Evironmental Studies doesn’t provide transportation for students during the day. About 40% of students have classes at other highschools and SES fails to be able to provide transportation, making it difficult and sometimes impossible for students to take classes. This is an issue because SES doesn’t provide many languages, or band, choir, theatre, wellness and gym. This is a huge issue for students who need to graduate. Instead of buying new uniforms for the basketball team, the track team, the football team and softball teams across the district, money should be put into providing bussing for students who need to get to class.
Rosemount High School is a great place for learning, athletics, and arts. The academics are top notch. You can choose from many core and elective classes. If you like to be challenged; AP, CIS, and PSEO classes are abundant. Athletically, Rosemount is known for football, hockey, and lacrosse. Most of the varsity sports are ranked in the top 10 throughout each season. Athletically, Rosemount has won many state championships. Lastly, we have a excellent arts program. Our band has been state champions 9 years in a row. You can find lots of other opportunities with singing, acting, and dance.
Rosemount is not very diverse. Most of the students are Caucasian. There isn't much I would change about my school or experiences I have had. Rosemount High School has helped me prepare for college and the next step. This is a great High School.
