Rosemount High School was an awesome school, and what you would expect from a US funded high school. It felt like prison at times, but nevertheless, I persisted. I had the wonderful opportunity to join college in my last two years of high school, and boy did it feel like a breath of fresh air. We need to change this system around. Student participation rate starts to drop dramatically in these years. Everyone starts to tune out. Ever heard of the senior slack? It's real, and the best way to combat it is to start treating students that are adults, like adults. They go from having bells, being told when to go to the bathroom, and then are in charge of real adult jobs the day after graduation. Nice! Well done! You did it! Go get em!

I have attending public schools in District 196 since 3rd grade; now as a senior I feel that the school system here has served me well. The extra curricular activities provided here provide everyone with something they're interested in. The music program here is one of the best in the state, as are the teachers, especially at the high school level. There is a decent amount of focus on STEM related fields as well. I think that this district offers some of the best opportunities for students in nearly every aspect imaginable. I am fortunate to have gotten my education here.
I have been a member of the school district since 9th grade. I feel that Eastview High School has been an excellent choice for me. It is academically challenging and there is a lot of support from the teachers there. There are opportunities for nearly all types of interests. Some of the good programs, like tutoring, are not promoted enough. I think that most kids enjoy attending the school and have very positive memories about the school. There is a need for a little updating of the interiors of the school.
