Only one person helped me when I was being bullied in middle school. Then only one person helped after my mom said something. Other than that I enjoyed the district. It would have been nice to know in advance that I needed 2 consecutive years of a foreign language to graduate with honors. Oh well, I've moved on and still had a lot to take out from the school district. THANK YOU ROGERS SCHOOLS!
The Rogers School District has done a really good job keeping up with updates made in the way that they teach. I would always hear the faculty talk about what changes college board has made or changes that were made in what they had to teach. All of the schools in the Rogers School district have good equipment and utilities. For example at Rogers New Technology High School, all of the students are equipped with a macbook, in order to do assignments and homework, and have access to the internet. This way the students have the ability to use the internet to their advantage and achieve more than students who don't have them. Not all of the schools in the Rogers School District have laptops for every individual student, but there is at least some type of computer lab, where students have access to the internet.
My overall experience with Rogers High School has been good. I have had a few problems with lack of responsibility of teachers who don't seem to be very motivated. The principal is pretty strict and restricts the seniors and leaders of school sports events planning from doing some things due to what he wants the image of the school to be while the things he restricts should not be considered rude or aggressive in any way. I understand his concerns in keeping the school classy and at the top, but it restricts us from having the same fun experiences other schools in the district has.
