family like atmosphere, very friendly and goal oriented. If I could re-do my high school experience all over again, I would. That is how great Rockingham County Schools are. I love the teachers, my classmates and the way everyone cares and is focused on your success. You will never feel left out or alone and that is a huge deal when going to school. There are so many great programs and classes they offer to students and the teachers are all very well educated and know what they are talking about. They form personal relationships with the students in order to help each child learn in a way that is best suited for them. When I have children, I have no hesitation with sending them off to a school within the Rockingham County district.

Overall, the school is not terrible but there is room for improvement. The arts programs are where I spent most of my time while learning at this institution because it was the only place I felt comfortable. There are a few shining stars within the core teachers at Rockingham (Angela Wilson, Judith Williams, Jason Turner.) These are the best teachers that were not in the arts program at Rockingham.
They need more classes. The only foreign language they offer on campus is Spanish, but they do have good Spanish teachers. Some of their sports have been jumping around coaches like tennis. Their coach told them that if they wanted to practice the Seniors should take initiative and host them. The soccer team has gone through 2 coaches.
