I enjoyed my time in RUSD, they definitely put students first and keep the community as a priority. Their music and performing arts programs are incredible, teachers and counselors are supportive and encouraging of students, helping them to both pursue their passions and explore new career avenues. Some of the best clubs and classes are largely student-run, and the teachers in charge of them know when to lead and when to step back and let the students take the reigns. One of my favorite things about RUSD is its lunch program. In consideration for the less fortunate in our community whose students rely on the Free and Reduced Lunch program available during school days, RUSD gives out free lunches during breaks and vacations from the school year, so that kids are still able to get the nutrition they need. Beyond that, in these confusing and trying times of COVID, RUSD has opened multiple campuses as a drive-through version of that same program, opening it up to all students in RUSD.

Riverside Unified School District accepts students for who they are and prepares students for a better future. No discrimination for any student and cherish diversity. Different programs vary from music, engineering, Avid, International Baccalaureate, and more. Each program brings out more than just learning, but having fun and experience. Not only the programs but also faculty members demonstrated true attention and care for students. As mention, students are taught and prepared in order to be ready for the future that awaits. Riverside Unified School District is an amazing district that continues to help students for the better of their future, for the world future.
The Riverside Unified School district is very dignified and notable. The majority of the teachers teach with intent and passion to enable the students to perform to the best of their ability. The academics in the district provide students from all backgrounds with an opportunity to learn and thrive, and also prepare themselves for a future career they wish to pursue in the future. The schools in the district provide students with the opportunity to get involved with sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities. However, when it comes to the counselors, I faced many challenges trying to get proper guidance from them. They did not make me feel comfortable asking them for help and because of this, my guidance in aspects of college had to be through the internet.
