Overall, the Riverside Local School District is a quite wonderful school district when it comes to its academics, clubs, and sports. With my experience as a student, I never met a single teacher that was outstandingly rude or harsh. Many of the teachers seem to care about their students and the subjects they are teaching. The only major downside is that many of the buildings, primarily the high school, is outdated and not very well maintained. Ultimately, the Riverside Local School District is not bad, but not overly excellent--it's rather your typical, average school experience.
They need better facilities, as they are very out dated. The need lockers that the students can use without sharing. Students don't have enough time to use the shared lockers and have to very heavy backpacks all day long. Kids don't often wear jackets as they don't have anywhere to store them.
Very good academic experience. All teachers are incredibly knowledgeable in their fields and have a vested interest in the success of their students. Has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, while still pushing students to excel. Has a multitude of electives and extracurricular activities to help students discover and explore their interests, including partnerships with local colleges to give students even more options, as well as a headstart on their collegiate careers. Facilities are functional but dated.
