Riverside Local School District (Painesville) Reviews
While the school as a whole could use a lot of renovating there were some teachers that just made the school everything it is, While attending here I ran into rude teachers, unhelpful guidance, and just no curriculum to help me, However they did offer the CCP program and when I started that I blossomed and started learning so much more. However, while the school offered this program the classes were not actually at the school. I did not see any growth in my academics until I went to another facility. Riverside itself is low maintained, sexist, and full of teachers who just want numbers, not to teach.
Overall this is a very nice school district. Teachers are engaged with students and are very happy to help them with any questions that may arise. There are many groups to join and be apart of in this school, there is something for everybody. There is a wide verity of electives you can choose from. The arts program and its teachers are very nice and encouraging towards the students. It's always nice when the school has the foreign exchange students teach others in the class about their home culture. It helps the kids learn about the other parts of the world.
I couldn’t have asked for a better schools and teachers. I will miss Hale Road and the families we became friends with but the new schools are beautiful and up to date. The teachers really care. I am very happy with the education, Memories, and experience my children had there. My daughter hopes to go back there after college to teach. She still volunteers during the school year at the elementary school and works the latchkey program. It has one of the best summer latchkey programs in the area. My children loved going to latchkey after school when I had to work late. They had so much fun playing and there was always a helping hand if they were doing their homework. I want to say thank you to all of the teachers and administrators that were there for my family over the years.
