The schools that belong to Rio Grande City CISD have always been concerned about the education of the students and their performance, always attentive to the needs of the students and in my personal case I entered 6th grade and they put me in bilingual classes since I came from living in Mexico and having knowledge of English they assigned me to those classes, after 3 months the Ringgold Middle School teacher in charge of the Bilingual problem saw my abilities and talked with my parents to change me to regular classes. The teachers were always aware of my school performance and did many things to help me and keep up with my classmates. Now that I am about to graduate from Prearatory for Early College High School, I am grateful to my teachers, my counselor and all the administrative staff who have supported me and in the same way to all the students with our needs now that we are going to college.
Within these past four years of being in this school district I have accomplished many things thanks to my teachers and administration that have guided me through every day life and I have gained knowledge in every aspect of my education and self worth. Through each struggle there has always been a positive outcome and I have learned to set achievable goals for myself and have learned to guide and help others in my community and my classmates In accomplishing their goals as well. The importance of teamwork is embedded in me and not giving up is something I will push for every day. I know that I have learned something new each day and with Continuing my education I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I will continue to ask questions because that is how you learn and will believe in those professionals who have already accomplished so much.
Rio grande City consolidated independent school district is a place full of culture and knowledge aside from being very competitive it is also very inspiring. I recommend this school district to other because as a student of this district I believe that there is a great abundance of potential within every student, based on my experience with this district I believe that it could grow to surpass what I expect from it because it does have it does have its down falls one of which is it's transportation system and funding this district needs to improve on transportation and the amount of funds it has.
