I’ve grown up in the Ridley District area, and have attended from elementary to high school. The district itself can do some improving. By this I mean they can prep us more for college, as I’ve been left confused on what to do. They should notify us more on scholarships, activities, so on and so forth. I’ve met many great people and teachers. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be here today. Guidance does help in the college bit too if you go to them directly! I think everyone should have the experience this district offers.
The school is always clean and my children feel safe during and after school being on campus. They have had caring and knowledgeable teachers who take the time to get to know them. The coaches are supportive and dedicated to the programs and players. Most importantly, they stressed staying positive and built a team culture. I think the whole school stresses that element of pride and positivity.
I remember really liking my time in Ridley. The school was very big and every student had access to their own iPad all four years. My teachers seemed to really care about their students and always made sure that each student had access to the supplies they needed to learn. My art teachers held an art show every semester, for all the students that took an art course. Seniors that had a lot of work to show were even given their own wall to display their work.
