Ridgewood is a nice and safe environment to grow up in. The staff/faculty are all caring and respectable. My only complaint however is as you aged and move up to high school, you tend to find more teachers more involved and concerned with sports than preparing the students for college.

I graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2016. They gave a me great education for where i was located growing up and provided some opportunities. I decided to further my education at a young age and do college credit plus, but not because of the education. they offered a lot of classes that gave me college credit, starting at sophomore year.
I would like to see more involvement with the performing arts programs. We have an amazing marching band and drama department. This is because a lot of the schools involvement is in sports. Most of the teachers are very dedicated to their students well being and knowing how the students are doing in class. We have a great CCP program which is encouraged.
