Republic R-III School District Reviews
Republic High School is a great high school that fully prepares you for a bright future no matter what a person's background. All of the teachers are always willing to stay after and help you if needed, and they're after school study program(which also brings a bus to kids who need a ride home after) is phenominal. I love Republic High School and wouldn't want to go to school anywhere else!
As a student who went their, I continuously felt outcasted by the school aside from the activities I joined and the people in them. You will only get recognized on a higher level if your parents work there, know the staff, or if you are involved in sports, anything else is not important. The school also has terrible disciplinary rules.
Republic High School is a wonderful place to get an education. Whether you are looking for a schools that has an outstanding track record for academics or the most competitive sports teams in the conference, Republic has you covered. The teachers and staff are always willing to help students with whatever they need regardless is it be tutoring or planning for college. All of the coaches take the time to know you by name regardless of you involvement in their sport. The students get along exceedingly well with very few, if any fights or outbursts. They take time to help each other and nobody gets singled out. The student body also does an extraordinary job of befriending and including disabled and disprivaledged students in any and all school events and everyday in the halls. There is no other high school that can provide an environment quite like the one here at Republic.
