In my experience, Renton is a very good school that is helping me prepare for college. Most of the teachers I've had were very nice and helpful to my learning. If I had to change something it would be the lack of information given towards the Running Start program. This program gives students a chance to earn college credits at a community college. I'm currently in that program and the whole administration doesn't seem to favor it. As a result, they expect us to figure everything out on our own. We aren't offered much help with applications and Running Start students are already not as connected with the school since they are off at college. Although I'm part of this program, I still want to feel as if I'm still a student at Renton High School and if I could change one thing I would want the teachers to make us feel that way.

Fun and welcoming community with several diverse members! Administration in the school district might need a bit of improvement through communication within the region but the community overshadows these problems through their academic wellness and multicultural events.
It's a nice school district but they obviously favor one school over the others. Renton and Limberg High School both have more students but get less funding than the mostly white suburban Hazel High School. Renton HS has amazing teachers, they deserve better.
