Rensselaer is a close knit environment, Students are very welcoming. Academic opportunity though I wish there are more options offered to the students.

I’ve attended Rensselaer city schools since elementary to graduation. I really like that we are a small school, and many of us feel like family. However, there’s also many disadvantages attending a smaller school. We don’t have funds to go on class trips, we aren’t afforded extra assistance, more classes.
