I've had the best 2 years of high school in this place, going into Junior year, it's really making me realize how much I will miss this place. The teachers are the coolest people, it feels safe, and it just has a nice community.
I love all of the unique classes and extracurricular activities that are offered to help students pursue their interests. Most of the teachers at Leavitt are great, but there are a couple that probably shouldn't have been hired.
Teachers and Staff members are often friendly and welcoming. They all want the best for their students and strongly encourage that their students challenge themselves in and out of the classroom. There are not a lot of extracurricular activities offered at the middle or high school level, but there enough so that everyone can be involved in some way or form. The schools are not modern and the outdoor facilities are marginal at best. Although the district may not be the strongest on the sports field or the most sophisticated in the classroom, overall it is a great community and place for the youth of the surrounding towns to attend school.
