Red Oak ISD is a great district that really cares about students and staff. They have quality schools with excellent teachers, top-notch fine arts and athletics programs, an associated degree program and much more! They also intentionally engage the parents and community in campus activities, and students engage in the community as well.

My experience in ROISD has definitely been life changing and I am grateful for all that I have gained from this district. The faculty and staff and every campus are friendly, supportive, and genuinely care for everyone who comes through the door, whether it be students or parents. Superintendent Dr. Mike Goddard has also changed much about the district in his short time of being here. He can often be seen interacting with students and staff and strives to know every single person involved in the district. His amazing leadership has changed this community for the best.
I’ve gone to Red Oak my whole life, and I like that most of the teachers truly care about the students and helping them learn. My biggest problem with Red Oak, however, is that they focus on the smallest things like having your headphones wrapped around your ears or a hood being on, while they choose not to focus on kids being bullied or anybody’s mental health.
