Red Bluff is a small town with a welcoming vibe which made it easy to make friends. I met most of my best friends through the classes I took at Red Bluff and made some unforgettable memories. Although my high school experience here was not perfect, it has helped to shape me into the person I am today. Most of the staff here is amazing and I have bonded with several of my teachers and coaches throughout my four years attending the school. I would recommend attending Red Bluff High School to a friend!
The best thing about being a student at Red Bluff High School is your association with the people. Although these have been extraordinary times our school administration and teachers have rallied around the students and their families. Despite the high levels of poverty and low levels of post secondary education in our community, our school has still tried to make college a possibility for all students. If I could change something about RBHS I would change the standard that we are held to. I think kids can do better and that when the standard is set at a high level for us with the necessary tools to achieve them we will rise to meet those expectations. I also wish that all students felt a stronger sense of connection and pride in being a part of the Spartan community.
Although high school is seen as a terrifying, dreadful, and fearful place, my high school was the complete opposite. Red Bluff Joint Union High School District not only allows students to prosper, but also encourages, motivates, and assists them in reaching their goals. The school has a kind and inviting environment for all students. It has a large spectrum of clubs and activities that fit each student's interest. It has allowed me to participate in various clubs such as Connect Crew, Key Club, Femineers, and California Scholarship Federation. Furthermore, the teachers are all very sympathetic and understanding. They realize the stress and pressure that high school can create when overwhelmed and can relate to these experiences. They are exceptionally kind and show their spirit for Red Bluff High School. Even though, the school does have a few stereotypical flaws including bullying and vaping, my high school has given me a great experience and is always finding new ways to improve.
