Rating 4.15 out of 5 33 reviews
Our district needs to learn how to better communicate on things that are not now sent by automated calls. My parents receive phone calls, emails & texts on emergencies, closings, etc but never got the same urgency of communication in regards to school pictures, scholarships available. or deadlines which are just as important. Nor programs in the district to mentor us youth. This has to improve.
I enjoy going to Raytown High School. I have made good friends, participated in choir, cross country, track and swimming. I have made friend's with teachers, some good some not so great, but I feel I have grown thru my 3 years there. The science teachers at Raytown high encouraged and nourished my love of chemistry and biology. This is part of the reason I want to become a forensic anthropologist. I would only change one thing- the food. It is not edible. I packed a lunch for 3 years now. I would not change my high school experience.
The Raytown C-II School District was involved in my educational experience since elementary school. I have had overall good experience throughout all 13 years. Their disciplinary actions are fair and I have enjoyed being in the school district. I've met great friends and teachers. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it's not perfect, but what school district really is. I didn't agree with some of the teaching styles presented to me, but I was still successful and was able to put forth my best effort while attending.
