RCHS is where the class sizes are normally no bigger than 18 people, where the teachers may teach, coach, or be a friend's parent, and where people care about you quite a bit. The friendliness of the staff and administration makes it easy to come to them for advice with school work, or even outside of school. The students at our school often do multiple extra curricular activities, such as how many drama kids may also do band or quiz bowl, or even a sport on top of that. At the high school many take multiple A.P. courses, online courses, duel enrollment, and governor's school is also offered for those who want a challenge. The sports that we have that do well do well every year too!

The reason I gave RCPS an average rating is because it does not prepare the students for college. The teachers are allowed to say whatever they want to the students, without getting in trouble. However, some teachers really do care about the students. The sports team are bad, but almost everyone makes the team.
I love the environment and the community it entails. I wouldn't change anything about it. Diversity is nice and the help needed for tutors or counselors is amazing. Rappahannock is hands down one of the best schools.
