Randolph County School System Reviews

I have had good academic experiences for the most part but grades are prioritized over mental health and there is not much care from the teachers' side about the social climate for students.
I rwally enjoy going to school there. They seem to have everything together. I sent them a few emails suggesting things that could be done and they replied.
I like how open the staff are and how they put a lot of efforts into the students education. However, if students were offered more academic opportunities to further explore their interests, that would be a great improvement.
There is a great lack of diversity and very poor funding for clubs and the arts in the system. There isn't a good amount of modern technology and it impairs how efficiently and effectively students can learn and complete tasks.
At school, there were fights frequently. Lots of drugs. The education was okay but could be better. Most of the staff were very polite and friendly.
Randolph County Schools are clean and teaches the students very well. I learned a lot while in these school systems and I made a lot of friends with teachers who I will cherish for a lifetime!
Well I am a high school senior this year and I have made the decision to further my education at Appalachian State University in the fall. I am beyond excited but I wouldn’t be heading there to peruse sustainable technology if it wasn’t for Randolph County Schools. Some of the greatest role models and teenager could ever ask for are in this district and I couldn’t be happier with the knowledge and help they have given me over these past 13 years. I am ready to use what they have given me to make a great life for not only myself but for my future family down the road and hopefully the rest of the world.
The schools in the county do a lot of things together. I feel like the community is really go but a lot of the administration have a hard time focusing on academics.
My experience with the Randolph County School system was very positive. The teachers in this system are very encouraging with their students and always available to lend a helping hand. The students really enjoy their teachers and the teachers appear to really enjoy their jobs which makes for an incredible learning environment.
My favorite thing about the Randolph County School System is how large it is and how many schools are included in the county. One of the downsides of Randolph County is that fact that many of the more rural schools tend to be very closed-minded.
average school; good teachers; clean facilities; good college preparation; up to date on all technology used in the school system
Well the education program in Randolph County is key to the environment. North Carolina loves education and they love to see everyone succeed in life. But, there is one problem many schools are in poverty and it is taking down the rankings of the schools. We need to improve some of the technological resources.
As a student, I’ve been apart of the Randolph County School system from K-12. Throughout my years in the Randolph County school system the teachers and school staff have always helped out students to achieve their academic goals. Teachers and staff create bonds with students that last their whole academic time in the Randolph County system.
I think our schools are good I dont think they need to change I learn how to get ready for college and they help with filling out allthe paperworkor showing of exmaples on how to do all the paperwork.
I like Randolph County Schools there is a lot of diversity which allows for everyone to fit in,in there own way. Also I have been to multiple schools and they seem to make you feel like you are one big family. There are things that need improvement such as food and facilities but overall they are pretty good.
The community here is strong. We have a strong acceptance for mentally disabled and other "underplayed" activities. We don't have much crime and our student body is strong in work ethic. The teachers can be unfriendly but are overall exceptional at their job. The administration is involved and is open in terms of what they want accomplished. We severely lack ethnic diversity but we have a strong following in the LGBT community. Our sports system isn't amazing, but it does well enough to hold the interest of the student body. I absolutely love my school's Beta Club. The organization of the Beta Club and the volunteer work we do is phenomenal. We have distinguished ourselves by competing at a state level, winning academic awards almost every year. Coming here can be a bit intimidating at first since some of the student body can be harsh, but the school overall is extremely welcoming. This system sets you up for success.
I love certain things about my school in this system, but dislike other things about it. I do believe that most teachers here genuinely care about your education and want to see you succeed. Some, however have done absolutely nothing towards preparing students for college, and some not even the next grade level. The sports programs at my school, I feel, are a priority over student learning. Overall, I think this school has its positives, but definitely also its negatives, which to some extent outweigh the positives.
