Athletics has also provided me with a supportive social network. The people I have met through athletics have become some of my closest friends and mentors. As part of a team, I have learned the value of teamwork, leadership, and communication. I have also learned to develop trust and respect for my fellow athletes, coaches, and mentors. These social skills have helped me to develop strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, which has given me a greater understanding and appreciation of the world around me.
Didn't like the vice principal, everything else was alright. In fact, the reason for my three-star rating is the obviously fake 'Stigma Free' attitude that Ramsey supposedly is. This is very much false, putting on a green shirt and having a marathon doesn't make stigma suddenly go away. The abhorrent way that guidance deals with depressed students is a blatant example. Would not recommend.
Ramsey High School has excellent academics, however it depends on the teacher. Some teachers would just give us packets and hope we can teach ourselves the informations, others give us notes, projects, and activities to try to engage us in class. I am very fond of the administration at Ramsey High, and it is easy to create a relationship with them.
