I have been in many different school systems due to travels needed for my mother's job. Rabun county is by far the best! It has many different clubs, sports, and activities for students to engage in. A new CTAE building was built in order to accommodate the needs for the schools growing interest in job related skills. Teachers are all very interactive with students and if needed extra help is always provided.

At Rabun County Schools, the teachers and administration take the time to get to know you and try to assist you in all of your goals. They are genuine and caring. When there is a need, the community pulls together to provide that need. It seems more like a family than just a school system. They provide you with opportunities to challenge yourself with numerous AP courses in high school, that actually allowed me to start my freshman year in college with 21 credit hours. Last but not least, Rabun County is one of he most beautiful places.....breath taking beauty mountains, lakes, clean air and a small town community.
The overall encouragement shown by many of the teachers is exemplary and supportive. There is a group here for everyone, no one should feel left out. The academics here are superb and better than most other schools especially AA schools such as this one. The school's system supports academic excellence and promotes success.
