A few days ago, I was arguing with my mom about going back to this school. She asked me what's good about the school, and I couldn't find anything but my friends. There are a few good teachers, but there are far more hateful teachers and staff. I was bullied by my own coach for Jr. High volleyball, and she encouraged the other girl to be mean to me too. They are horrible communicators as many events happened that we didn't know about, and there were many conflicts in schedule that the staff said they would work out and didn't. They hold back the gifted kids and won't help the kids below grade level. Mediocre at best. If you can, don't send your kids to PV.
It is a small town school, where the community is known for coming together when in need. The school has excellent teachers and staff that are always willing to help students in need whether its a personal issue, or with school work. Coaches make teams feel like family, teachers try to make school work as comprhendable for every type of student as possible. The staff really makes the school feel like family.
My experience at Pymatuning Valley school district has been great. The teachers have pushed me to be the very best me I can be. The courses available are great, ranging from regular, to AP, to College Credit programs. There are many clubs and sports to be apart of. Throughout my High schol career I have been in clubs and sports while taking advanced courses.
The things I would like see change is the food quality. It’s very bland and sometimes looks unpleasant. It’s good if you’re hungry.
