Putnam County School District Reviews
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the help that guidance counselors and administration offered when applying to college. Need improvement on facilities, technology, food choice, sports. Technology is not up to date causing students to lack the use of technology experiences. The lunch food isn't all that great causing majority of students to go without food. Sports programs are not excelling but recently got a new football coach and are showing great improvement. School safety is lacking but are making slow improvements.
Putnam County School District does a fabulous job with the limited amount of resources it has, being one of the poorest counties in Florida. The teachers in our area truly care about their students and want to see them succeed, many going above and beyond to make that happen!
I am basically fine with everything that they have done. I would just like a consideration of when school should start and end. I also would tremendously like to see the food choices of the school lunches looked over. I believe that the food in schools now are pretty unhealthy and we teach our kids to eat the right foods and make the right choices, even in food, and we do not do to well with this field.
