I had a unique experience at Putnam County, and there were many opportunities to grow and learn more.
There is a lot about Putnam County that stands out as being good. Their athletic programs are always winning, they hold consistent theater and musical programs, and they are always introducing new things to students to keep them interested. They are very proud of their Agriculture programs but are probably the most lax on the art program. It is a very small school, so there isn't a lot of diversity and it can be cliquey. I did not enjoy eating cafeteria food when I was as student, there wasn't many options and everything had a disingenuous frozen aspect to it. I am also a vegetarian and was never able to have a filling or healthy meal from them.
I enjoyed the safe and relaxed atmosphere of Putnam County High School. Class sizes were small and teachers and staff were always willing to help!
