My experience at Pulaski County Public Schools was unique. There is a great emphasis in the school system on sports... more so than on academics. For all 12 years of schooling through Pulaski County, I believe more time and money was spent on maintaining the football field than improving school conditions and student's scores. Whether or not you loved or hated your time at PCPS, you can't argue that this county focuses little on what is truly important... its students.

Pulaski County Public Schools have wonderful teachers which really make the whole learning process much more interesting and a great experience for all. One of the best people I have ever met works for the school system and caused me to grow fond of a subject I had hated prior to the class. Overall the school system is very good, but I would like to see a study hall put into the schedule for high school students since a decent amount of homework and projects are collected throughout the week. Also, because the school has no windows it would be great to have that break where they could be outdoors and get fresh air during the seven hour school day.
Many facilities are outdated, but the teachers always gave their best effort with the resources they had.
