My experience at Pulaski county high school is bad. I feel unwanted, I feel as if my teachers don't care for me, I feel my future is not the most important thing to my teachers. I have witnessed people being called a whore, slut, hoe, worthless piece of trash, and worse in front of a teacher. I think the education part of my school is okay. It is biased I feel the ones that have problems socially are put in the less advanced classes. I think we could change and improve these things by making bullying and harassment more important. I think we should make a box for students to report abuse with out being considered a "snitch" as I have been called before. Also I feel we could make the socially awkward kids feel more welcome by trying to mix the social types in elective classes. I feel my goals for Pulaski are not unachieveable and we can change our school to be accepting and safe.
Very helpful in helping me prepare for college and real-life scenarios. Also put students needs and safety first. Good with contacting parents when something is going on at the school. Very safe with policies making sure teachers know where their students are at all times. Safety officer on campus and staff trained for emergency situations.
