My kids go to a brookline public school and they have done much better during covid-19 then other public schools. I don't know why that review with one star said what they said, but they are gravely mistaken. BTW my kids do not feel abandoned at all. They felt very included during these troubling times. Brookline does have some faults though. For example there aren't too many clubs to sign my kids up for. Also calculus is an optional course only allowed for high school seniors. Even then they teach the very basics of calculus. In Japan kids start to learn the basics of calculus in 6th grade. My fourth grade son has at least 15 books on many different forms of calculus just so that he can catch up with the Japanese public school system. But, with that said PSBMA has taught my children to learn push themselves to their full potential.
Switched on system with fantastic teachers. The community feel is what makes it great though. We are lucky to be here.
The school district did not even try to come up with a plan to educate children in 2020-2021, choosing instead to abandon public education.
